For service businesses and small teams

    Operational Clarity.
    Installed.

We help service-based businesses improve their workflows and install practical AI solutions, so you can run your business instead of your business running you.

Clear processes first. Practical technology where it helps.

What a connected workflow can look like

    An inquiry comes in.
The next step is already clear.

    1. 01Capture the inquiry
    2. 02Assign the next action
    3. 03Send the right follow-up

An example, built around your tools and the way your business works.

    Common business challenges

    Too much still
    depends on you.

When work lives in your inbox, your memory, and disconnected tools, even a small team can become hard to manage. The first step is understanding where the process needs to change.

I’m still the person everyone comes to when something gets stuck.

We have the tools, but I’m still moving information between them.

Following up depends on whether I remember.

I want to use AI, but I need to know where it would actually help.

“I’m tired of chasing every inquiry.”

Give every inquiry a clear next step.

Connect your inquiry forms, contact records, and follow-up process so new opportunities are easier to track and act on.

Examples of what we can build

    • Capture inquiries from website forms in your CRM.
    • Send an acknowledgment and assign the next action.
    • Create follow-up reminders and flag unanswered inquiries.

    Example workflow

    1. 01Inquiry received
    2. 02Contact recorded
    3. 03Next action assigned
    4. 04Follow-up scheduled

    Why LCO

    We’re not selling tools.
    We’re creating solutions.

    01

    Understand the work first.

We look at how work moves, where it gets stuck, and who owns each step before recommending technology.

    02

    Build around your business.

The solution should fit your processes and capacity. We assess your existing tools before recommending changes.

    03

    Leave your team equipped.

Testing, documentation, and training are part of implementation. Your team needs to understand how to operate the system.

    Operational experience behind practical solutions.

I’m Vernell Rixner, founder of Lucid Consulting Operations and a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel. My 31-year career spanned operations, logistics, and contracting, where I led teams, coordinated complex work, and established clear responsibilities.

Today, I help service business owners improve how work moves through their business and put practical AI solutions in place. I start with the workflow, build around the business, and provide the documentation and training your team needs.

I’m also the author of Scale Without the Bottleneck, which addresses the same challenge: building a business that can operate without everything depending on its owner.
